I wonder how long it will be until something like "Near Past-Anthropology" is born? The information age has created a richer history with more interlinks to study than (I would conjecture) all of human history up to this point. How soon will we start looking backwards with scientific methodology at people's blogs and personal websites? No era has allowed such ubiquitous self expression; what could be learned from studying it broadly?
I think I'd like to write this blog with that idea in mind: If I were studying me from the future, what would be interesting and relevant information, what would yield key insights into myself and my culture?
